Cookie Policy
Effective date: 19 September 2026
How we use cookies
Cardikyu uses an essential cookie to remember your cookie preference. If you select “Accept all”, we also use optional identifiers to send a limited, pseudonymised set of usage events to Google Analytics. These optional cookies are not set if you select “Reject optional”.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cardikyu_analytics_consent | Essential | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics cookies. | 1 year |
_ga | Optional analytics | Helps Google Analytics distinguish visits. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_* | Optional analytics | Maintains the state of a Google Analytics session. | Up to 2 years |
cardikyu_analytics_client | Optional analytics | Gives consented web-app events a random analytics identifier that is not your account ID. | 1 year |
Changing your choice
You can revisit your choice from this page. Rejecting optional cookies stops forwarding events to Google Analytics and removes existing optional analytics cookies. Cardikyu still records a limited set of signed-in operational events in its own systems so that we can diagnose onboarding and service reliability.
